FEES and OBLIGATIONS

If you want to join in on the curling fun, contact a League Coordinator.  We are always happy to receive late entries and will fit you into the season.

Check out our Covid-19 page which includes some essential forms.  And have a look at our Club Policies page for the "rules of the road".

We have a simple membership fee.  Curl in more than one league at no additional cost!

Annual Fee, per person:

Any Leagues: $175
Seniors: $150 (or drop-in $5.00 per game)

Juniors:: $90.00
Non-member, drop-in, or spares: $10 per game
Family league (starts in January): $25.00  ($100/team of four)
Drop-ins who exceed four times must pay an additional $13 Curling Alberta fee.

Contact your League coordinator for E-transfer instructions.

NOTE: If you work shift-work (for example, four-on, four-off), consider entering a team of six but pay for four curlers (and receive four dinner tickets for the year-end party). And remember, some employers will pay for sports fees!  Spares that are not paid up within a league pay $10 per game, and do not receive a year-end party dinner ticket. Singles, couples or full rinks are all welcome, brooms and sliders are available.

New!  Businesses can advertise for free, by submitting a curling rink!  Contact Carol at cbudgen1960@gmail.com for details.

Volunteer Hours

Although there are no mandatory volunteer hours, we still desperately need volunteers throughout the season for ice maintenance, bonspiels, and other events and strongly encourage members to support their club.  We will still track volunteer hours, so that we can submit volunteer names (weighted by hours) for a year-end prize draw.

During League nights, one team operates the lounge bar on a rotating basis. This is mandatory (though we are flexible) and not part of the volunteering noted above.  Your League Coordinator will set up a rotating team schedule, and written bar operation instructions are posted at the cash register. It's easy and fun.

DUES (see above) ARE TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. ALL DUES MUST BE PAID BEFORE ANY MEMBER CAN BEGIN CURLING!

Once you've read and understand the above, you may download and print the 2021 registration form and bring it in to a league coordinator along with your fees.   Payments can by by e-transfer to:  curlingclubpayments@gmail.com

Lockers

$20 per year.

Windup Banquet and Dance

Our season-end banquet and dance will be held in the club lounge and are included in regular member dues (limit four per team). Have a look at our Club Events page for details, and contact your League Coordinator for nonmember ticket prices.
